Turquoise jewellery has been revered by the Native American Indians for centuries. Turquoise is thought to be a protective and healing stone one to wear to dispel negative energy.Turquoise is meant to assist you in finding your true path in life.
Aquamarine is a beautiful sea blue gemstone although not a precious stone it is considered a quality gemstone and is often used in rings. It is a calming stone and very elegant.
Chalcedony is very similar in look to Aquamarine but a bit more of a glassy translucent gemtone whereas Aquamarine is more of a milky colour. Chalcedony is not a particularly well known gemstone nowadays but is a very pretty gem which actually has been used in jewellery and because of its durability in seals as early as 2500BC. The gemstone's name comes from the port of Chalcedon in Turkey which is now known as Kadikoy.
Agate comes in many colours but is particularly pretty in blue
