As well as the usual popular gemstones like Amethyst and Garnet nowadays we are seeing a move towards the more unusual gemstones in jewellery.
More colourful gemstones like the pretty and stripy green Malachite as shown below appeal to the fashion conscious.
There are some pretty pink gemstones available other than Rose Quartz. Rhodochrosite for example has a deeper pink colour as seen here.
For earthy tones there are several gemstones which have a mix of colous including. Rhodonite also known as Rhondite, Sodalite with a mix of blues and Fluorite which has a nice mix of green tones.
